Chance Shelter recruits fosters to help with short- and long-term homes for pets who’s families are in a crisis situation such as displacement due to a fire or a scheduled or unscheduled trip to the hospital. Our fosters help by housing and caring for the pets until they are able to be reunited with their people.
This program continues to assist our first responders by helping them with the resources needed for pets at the time of a crisis situation. Chance Shelter can transport the pets to the foster home and help with the exchanging of information needed to put the pet owners mind at ease.
If any of you are interested in being a part of our neighbor-to-neighbor program, feel free to fill out our foster application on this website.
Please note; all foster homes will have a home check, this is for the safety of our fosters and the pets they will be caring for.
