At this time we do not have a physical location. All of our animals are in foster homes.
Here’s what we’re looking for:
-
Volunteers must be at least 18 years old. Ages 13-17 may volunteer if accompanied by a guardian at all times.
-
Chance Shelter does not accept volunteers needing to fulfill court-appointed community service.
Steps to Becoming a Volunteer:
We are extremely grateful to perspective volunteers but are unable to accept every applicant. In order to assist us with matching prospective volunteers with our needs, we ask everyone who is interested in volunteering to fill out a Volunteer Application and answer all questions (being as specific as possible where applicable). If your skills, experience, interests, and availability meet our needs at this time, we will contact you about how to get started. You will hear from us, either way. Training will be required, based on your area of interest.
