Now here’s a dog everyone will love! Amber is a Collie (Husky?) mix and about as sweet as they come.
When Amber lost her person and her elderly cat we were happy to take her and her daughter into our program. Sadly we lost her daughter just days later to an incurable disease. Despite her triple loss she is coping well and loves all the attention she is getting in her new foster home.
Amber is 8 years old and her vet assures us she has many good years left but she does need to slim down a bit. She is now going on daily walks and loving every minute of it. She is good with everyone she meets including dogs and cats.
Next week Amber will undergo a surgery to remove a benign tumor. After about 10 days of recovery she will be ready to love her new family as much as we love her.
After all she’s been through, this poor girl deserves a forever home where she’ll get the love she deserves. Could that be with you?
