Never underestimate the power of our youth! With the support of her mother and teacher Camrin Conlee and her fellow students in FOR Club ( Friends of Rachel Scott ) created a pet drive. They posted flyers and asked for donations of pet supplies from the entire Sonoran Heights Elementary.
The response was heartwarming! These donations will help Chance Shelter continue to be a strong support for our furry pets in crisis situations. With the supplies given Chance Shelter fosters are able to help keep the pets comfortable during difficult times.
This young lady and her fellow club members did an awesome job with this pet drive. All of the students and staff members at Sonoran Heights Elementary that gave to this cause are a true example of what our community is all about. Chance Shelter is proud to be a part of this wonderfully caring community. Our board members, volunteers and fosters would like to thank all of you at Sonoran Heights Elementary for your support.
Camrin Conlee, you made a difference! Yourself and fellow club members should be proud of all you have been doing for the community and your club.
We can say that our future is in good hands when we realize that our youth is making a difference!
Thank you!
