Kansas, Royal, Ranger and Diamond!
These little cuties story begins on a warm spring day in April when we were called to the Surprise Spring Training facility. A feral mother cat had given birth in the roof and the kittens had fallen in between the walls. With the help of the Maintenance crew at the facility and the Suprise Animal Care and Control, they were able to rescue the kittens. At the time there were 4 kittens in total and the feral momma had ran away.
Chance Shelter was able to take the 4 kittens in to foster and began bottle feeding. We left a trap for the facility crew in hopes that they could trap the mama. They did just that! So we were able to reunite feral momma (Spring) and the four kittens.
We gave momma (Spring) and kittens the time needed to flourish. When the time came we were able to get Spring spayed and vaccinated. Spring remained feral so she was returned back to her home.
Weeks later, 2 more kittens were found. These two kittens are believed to be from the same litter. We are not sure how they survived without momma, but they are exact same size and weight as the first four. The litter was FELV/FIV tested and had their first vaccinations. The “All-Stars” are set to be spayed and neutered soon. We will be introducing them individually on the website and gearing up for their adoption event coming in later in July. Keep watching for your chance to adopt one of these adorable babies!
