Chance Shelter was called for a cat that had been stuck up in a tree for several days. Some seniors who had been caring for this stray cat had informed Animal Care and Control that the cat had been chased up the tree by a dog.
Surprise Animal care and Control responded to the scene and realized this would be no easy task. Animal Care and Control called us to see if we knew of anyone who had the proper equipment. We contacted a couple of local landscape companies who were unable to respond. Then we called First Option landscape. Animal Care and Control coordinated to get the guys to the address where the cat was located. Thank you Surprise Animal care and Control.
These guys did not hesitate. They too were concerned for the cat. Within an hour they had rescued the cat safely down out of the tree. Sometimes it takes a community of caring citizens to get the job done. We are thankful and fortunate to be living in such a community!
