They’re back! … and better than ever! We posted these 5 kittens on our Facebook page in the beginning of June. It is hard to believe that these adorable babies were thrown out of a car as if they were trash. They were extremely sick and one of them (Trey) had a broken leg. They were all placed on 3 different medications for about 4 weeks.
Trey had an x-ray on his leg and we were told that they would have to amputate or spend thousands on orthopedic surgery. Since Trey was too sick we knew we would have to hold off on his surgery. We posted pictures of Trey’s broken leg on Facebook. The donations were heartwarming. When Trey started showing signs of recovering from his illness, we noticed that he was weight bearing on his leg and using it for balance. We decided to use the donations we received so far and get a second opinion. We could not believe what seemed to be a miracle on the new x-ray taken just 1 1/2 month later. Trey’s severed bone is growing back together. We will have the before and after x-rays posted on our Facebook page once we receive our copy of the new x-ray. We are more than ecstatic to announce that although it is not perfect, Trey will be able to keep his leg!!

Due to the hard work and countless hours of no sleep from our wonderful foster, the kittens survived. They were spayed, neutered and vaccinated. We are happy to announce that all 5 kittens are ready for adoption. They are 13 weeks old, playful, loving babies and as a bonus, dog friendly.
