Chancy was Chance Shelter’s very first rescue. She was found left behind with no mother or siblings. Her back legs were croocked and couldn’t hold her up. Our foster volunteer massaged her legs and gave her physical therapy to help straighten and strengthen them.
With the help of one of our foster volunteers and her dog Taz, slowly Chancy began to thrive. The Foster volunteer said that Taz was lonely and he was so excited when Chancy came to live with him.
Taz nurtured and parented Chancy through her hardest times. Chancy was bottle fed and there were several visits to the vet but Taz kept her warm and never left her side.
Taz and Chancy became BFF’s so Taz decided to ask if Chancy could please stay and share his forever home with her, the two are living happily together now and her legs are all better.
