

This informative class helps pet owners to be empowered to care for their pets in times of crisis situations. Individuals will be informed on how to care for their pet, how to do Pet CPR and basic first aid for their pet and what to do in case of a crisis situation to help their pet before getting them to the emergency vet.

Chance Shelter offers Pet CPR classes on a quarterly basis. Instructed by ASHI Certified Instructor Kathy Bayer and assistant Paramedic Jenn Currie . Each volunteer and foster for Chance Shelter is required to take this class.
This class is for anyone who wants to learn basic steps on how to properly care for a pet in an emergency situation long enough until professional help is able to be administered or the pet is taken to an Emergency Veterinarian. This is not an advanced pet first aid class.
