What a fun day this was! Although the turn out was smaller than anticipated everyone (including the kittens) had a great time!
We started with our Pet safety and Awareness program which taught the children how to care for their pets and the proper way to approach a pet and when not to approach a pet. After the program we had the children sit around the kitten pin and give an opportunity for them to read to the kittens. There was play time and because we had a smaller attendance we were able to allow for the children to pet and hold the kittens.
