Chance Shelter joined in on what has been a wonderful annual public safety night for the community of Surprise. Every year Public Safety Officials hold this event to engage communities in getting involved in their neighborhoods.
This is a great way to have a fun and safe evening with the kids. This event is free to the whole family, even the furry ones! Animals are welcome as long as they are leashed and you clean up their waste.
There is plenty of great entertainment. Community vendors and retailers gather to bring fun and giveaways, and a safe trick or treat alternative to help support the cause. Kids and parents can interact with Public Safety officials and get up close to emergency vehicles and apparatus.
Chance Shelter was happy to be invited to share our support for this wonderful community event. We were able to connect with members of the community and offer some great resources, volunteer opportunities, and awareness of over pet population. We had treats and activity books and crayons for the kids.
If you have never been to this event Chance Shelter encourages you to join in next year and bring your family and invite friends. This is an event the City of Surprise can be proud of.
